Mona Patil - MSc

Mona is an enthusiastic and safety-focused environmental and geology professional. She has a master’s degree in Geology from The Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda, and a further advanced diploma in Environmental Technology and Project Management. Mona's dissertation on groundwater contamination tackled key environmental challenges, demonstrating her expertise in watershed data analysis, morphometry, and groundwater flow modeling. It also emphasized the influence of surface and subsurface structural features on watershed dynamics. During her studies, Mona has used her passion for preserving ecosystems to actively contribute to sustainability initiatives through volunteer work with YETI and organizing numerous events focused on ecology, waste management, and geothermal energy.

Mona joined Lotic in June 2024 and is a key member of our water quality monitoring team, supporting data management and reporting. Mona is also gaining valuable field work experience with groundwater monitoring, surface water sampling and calcite surveys.  Mona brings a multidisciplinary approach with experience collecting and analyzing soil and water samples, hydrogeology, project management and proficiency with data management software.
