Meagan Hargreaves -BSc, AIT

After an eleven-year career as an Avalanche Technician, Meagan completed a Bachelor of Science in Ecosystem Management (Lethbridge College), where she gained a keen interest in the hydrological sciences.  After graduating she began work as an environmental technician and has since gained over four years experience in ecosystem restoration.

Meagan has gained experience working as an environmental consultant in Alberta and British Columbia, with work including water quality monitoring, invertebrate sampling, GIS analysis, soil classification, vegetation surveys, wildlife and bird surveys, and snowpack and avalanche assessments. 

Meagan currently works as a lead on various projects as well as lends support to the rest of her Lotic team as a technician on other contracts. She currently serves as the field lead for a groundwater monitoring program and is also acting as an Environmental Compliance Monitor for a large-scale construction project. Meagan’s strengths include a positive and safety-oriented attitude and the ability to work and communicate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
