Daniel has been working with Lotic Environmental since August 2021. Daniel has experience throughout Western Canada performing field work that includes vegetation surveys, bird surveys, water sampling, soil sampling and bioengineering. In more recent years, Daniel has gained extensive experience in environmental monitoring for multiple large-scale projects at Elk Valley Resources (EVR) Fording River and Elkview mine sites.

- Completed rare plant and endangered species sweeps for development projects.
- Environmental Monitor – Onsite monitor for large scale construction projects. Ensuring the construction company is complying with environmental regulations. Monitoring erosion and sediment controls.
- Completing fish salvages via trapping and electrofishing methods.
- Identifying fish and fish habitat.
- Determining severity of calcite and deposits in stream beds.
- Collecting water samples and delivering them for testing.
- Identifying soil profiles.
- Completing sweeps for bird presence and nesting locations.
